Yeah, I've got most of the bike and run (bit of loss at start of both). Run looks half a mile short, which is disappointing - it was an out and back with a dead turn that I guess they could have moved? I'll u/l tomorrow :)

All courses are different. And a massive length variation is permitted.

There isn't much value to be had in a "OD PB"; a course PB on the other hand.. But even then, weather makes a big impact.

What matters more is placing or time compared with peers...

Very true - no idea how I placed, although very few people came past me (none on the bike, but I was in the last wave - two on the run). It's a decent event, well located, good places to watch, well marsealled/organised and closed roads. Few tweaks and it's got great possibilities.
