I got all over-excited about this... then remembered I'm hosting the family for my Mother's 70th birthday celebration.

If only the sportive was a mile longer I could have dedicated it to her birthday.

As it is I'll be spending the day serving food, watering down the wine and hoping beyond hope that the old thing doesn't get totally bollocksed and piss on my carpet and/or sofa. Again. FFS, it's almost as bad as a night out with Tritans.
