Cheers Jimba, it is supposed to be autumn/winter down under, but it's f#cking hot, but thankfully a wetsuit optional swim, just hoping I miss swimming into the boats/floatplane in the marina.

I can't seem to get the ironmanlive athlete tracker to work (probably an issue with chrome on desktop). A bit annoying.

Thank you, apparently the tracker stopped working, finished just under 15hrs, which was what I hoped for, but, I almost sacked it after the first lap of the bike, tough route, first six miles and last six of each lap sapped the legs, Wind picked up, Adopted the walk/crawl method for the run section. Fantastic race.

Still an incredible achievement.

Don't want to bang on about the age thing, but from your 20s/30s though to your 50s is amazing going.

Most kind sir,
In 2010, after Austria, I thought never again, it would be just too much, and I was getting old. Mrs J. Remarked that I looked a lot healthier at this race than I did in Austria, despite less training, I have put down a few possibilities in my race report which is almost finished.

Got coaxed into racing the crit at MK Bowl on Thursday. I started at the back which was a bad idea! Got pushed out the back by two guys in rront inable to clip in. After that I hang on at the back for dear life, managed about half way until an Oxford Uni rider who had entered both the Cat 4 and the 3/4 hammered it off the front. After that the elastic snapped and I TT’d it round with one other to the finish.

Somehow placed 22nd, not sure how but I’ll take it. Considering everyone was saying it was ridiculously fast compared to previous weeks and I’ve done no training ecstatic doesnt quite cover it
Cuffing it, one Cluster at a time!
Haven't ridden my bike since June 2014, bugger
