Yup, as Ewan says, shouldn't be a problem. Might be a bit tricky squeezing a cyclocross width tube in a 23mm with all the extra rubber, and putting a 23mm tube in a 35mm tyre will make it a bit thinner and more susceptible to puncture, but TBH I just stick what I have lying about when I need one.

It'll also fuck up your CRR, but we're probably not to worried about that when we're talking about riding a CX bike on the road over winter...
