Brilliant stuff KS. Amazing work getting to pull on the GB colours! Sounds like you had a good race in tough conditions. You are rightly proud of yourself!

Just got an email from the team manager; he was the finish line (and seemingly everywhere else at the same time - don't know how he did it) and a common thread was it was much harder than expected, even for the Pros. An amazing experience; definitely boosted confidence.

Did let the occasion get to me in my minor OCD in T1 and T2 but in future races (hopefully some of them GB again) but think it has now made me stronger. Still on a buzz to be honest :D
It seemed like a good idea at the time :? .

Thank you, made me even more determined now to pull my socks up for next year.

Just got this posted to me, the temp of 32C it seems was the official Met type in the shade figure, someone snapped the 'direct in the sun' reading

Bloody hell :o

Err no, bit shy about it. Helmet was absolutely fine. No misting, no rubbing, didn't wobble, no sense of being too hot. Thoroughly recommend it, in fact think Velodrome have them on sale again at £105 including visor
