Charlotteville - on H50/8 (Bentley) - think the course is a bit different to the 25 - goes further along the A31, to the next roundabout near Alton - think it might me similar to the route of Tritans' 100.

Why oh why???

Also, my little book is yet to arrive so I don't know the dates but the H50/17 has a rep for being quick (nicer than Bently IIRC) if you want to do more than one 50 :-)

H50/8 is in May, so not very long to get fit(!) - but part of the SEWTTS series - so figure I need to give it a go, as I need at least 5 results from the series to get an overall series score, and fitting the races in is proving tricky.
H50/17 looks like it is in Aug - so if I don't come away from Charlotteville saying that I will never ride another 50, then that might be an option...

Good luck with the training - nail that half blue!!!

Results please dinosaurs... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... ring#gid=0

I may have an opportunity to race on Saturday, but more likely I'll save it until the hilly hard riders events at the end of march.

We've had four BCTTT competitors in action this weekend!

We could _almost_ get a team together.

And one next weekend.

And this year I am doing the BBAR having signed up for the 12hr on Fri - The Nat Champs in Yorkshire.

I'm hunting for the 100/50 now...

Not entirely sure...Jack. I think I might be mental...to be honest I think its obv I won't get the certificate but that doesn't mean I won't be trying. I certainly think I'm capable of averaging 22mph on the 50/100 but not the 12hrs.

I knew about 3... who was the 4th? All the more reason to get some results up then :-)

S11, BBAR attempt is awesome - excited to see how you do on the longer events. they deserve some good support. Is Jason coaching you for the attempt?

I'm defo trying for it....I don't feel I've lost too much fitness from having the shingles and I was in mid flow of a hard block of training only to get that stinky cold that's doing the rounds. However now its out of the way....all systems go!

Ewan - Yes he is. To be honest this notion has been with me for a couple of years now and I really want to try and see how I get on. I prefer burying myself on the bike that I do in a swim or a run. The 50mile TT is fine, 100TT - yeah ok can do that - the 12hr....

Hopefully after this week is out the way then I can get down to some hard training, I think I'll try and use a lot of TT's to get myself ready - race to train/ train to race etc...
