15/06. Windsor Sprint
2-7/07. Les Stables
03/08. Guildford Sportive. 100km
06/09. Sundowner Sprint. Needs BAT approval
28/09. Hever Olympic
12/10. Malta Champs? Needs BAT approval.

:) I know I know. Out of curiosity, wonder how much training things like heptathlon requiure. Or modern pentathlon, where the disciplines are even more diverse and a lot of the skill / form isn't really transferable..

Week 2 done. 2 x swim, 2 x bike, 3 x run, 1 x gym

Consistency vs. Plan score: 8/9 (17/19, 89%)
Plan completion score: 7/10 (15/20, 75%)
Weight: 99.0 (WoW delta: 0, total delta: -0.8)

An OK week - guests over for the weekend, so fewer activities planned and no long bike session (catching up on it tomorrow, actually, so Week 3 has two included). Missed one run session - came back home too late and too tired on Wednesday to physically be able to get out for a plod :| . Also, "healthy" diet went out of the window for the last 2-3 days of the week, with folks over and plenty of yummy restaurant stuff to siphon in. Not hoping for a drop in weight this week, will be quite happy if I step on the scales tomorrow morning and remain at last week's level (could be difficult, tbh). Hence, another :| and a weak 7/10 subjective plan completion score for the week. Ah well.

Also, had a physio session this week - things seem to be progressing, I have more stuff to do of course, but tonight I ran for 36 minutes non-stop with only a little bit of a hip niggle towards the end, which is a massive change in quality of experience. Need to work out a good glute-activating warm-up routine, as this is what seems to be helping most in the injury situation (Thursday night post-gym run is typically entirely pain-free, if we don't count DOMS). Any ideas/suggestions, let me know.

Week 3 ahead; it will be a tough one.

:ugeek:

EDIT: Weight updated; exactly 99kg, which means I haven't *gained* weight over the last week. That's actually good news.

Week 3 behind me. 3 x swim, 4 x bike, 3 x run, 1 x gym.

Consistency vs. Plan score: 11/11 (28/30, 93%)
Plan completion score: 8/10 (23/30, 77%)
Weight: 98.1 (WoW delta: -0.9, total delta: -1.8)

The busiest training week I have ever had. 11 sessions and 12+ hours of activity. Not sure where I've managed to squeeze them all in.

Noticed one thing - the busier I get at work, the worse my diet becomes. I manage to do all the training planned, but lack the time to do the cooking. And so, this week saw two pizzas, a Big Mac meal and a footlong sub. Not great at all - hence the subtraction of two points from the subjective plan completion score for the week.

:ugeek:

EDIT: Weight updated, 98.1 kg. In spite of the diet.

Week 4: 2 x swim, 2 x bike, 1 x run, 1 x gym.

Consistency vs. Plan score: 6/8 (34/38, 89%)
Plan completion score: 5/10 (28/40, 70%)
Weight: 98.2 (WoW delta: +0.1, total delta: -1.7)

This was always going to be a light week (weekend away, so e.g. no long bike on Sunday), but it turned out even lighter than planned - last-minute day trip to Paris on Tuesday saw to that. Missed a session on the day and never quite caught up with the plan.

Diet far from ideal too - visit at our friends' down in Luxembourg meant bingeing on yummy food and Fantastic vino (brought 20+ bottles back with us!). As a result - flat(-ish) on weight front.

All in all, a week to forget. Thing is, with Xmas round the corner, there may be one or two just like that lined up... :|

Not sure it was a week to forget. Sounds like you had a good time :)

Like your wow delta. How are you calculating that? Linear progression? Moving average?

Just difference from previous week's value. And total ∆ is difference from starting point, i.e. 99.8kg. Keeps me honest.

Week on Week delta - so, *this* week's weight vs. *last* week's weight. I fail to see your issue. ;-)

I think it's his ropey grasp of English. Based on:

I suspect he means he can't remember the week
