3 hours of mtb ' ing is hard,hard work. That is a very impressive first attempt.

I think it's wise to err on the side of caution descending whilst getting used to it.

Were the fast guys using hardtails or full sus ?

Took me best part of a week to recover.

Fast guys: hard tails, skin suits, just a single water bottle. Not sure about 29 vs 27.5 vs 26 will need to study the photos. (which is the only way of me seeing them - I fulfilled my objective of starting the loop before the leaders rejoined the route for the out and back section).
