Rear wheel, Shimano compatible and cheap!

Looking for a second-hand cheapy wheel to use as a turbo wheel. Shimano compatible... an old skool 9-speed cassette would be cool too (Ulty 6500 compatible)

Whatcha got and how much? Willing to pay literally pence.
I had fun once. It was awful.

i've got a 9spd that's about to come off my winter bike. it's done about 4,000 miles and might be a bit skippy in the middle range under load. had 2 chains on it, but the current one is a bit more stretched than i'd like it so it's coming off when i swap the chain.

Got a HG50 12-25 9 speed cassette, virtually new (barely used on my turbo wheel with old bike). RRP £23, make me an offer if it is any good.

worth noting that chain reaction have a good sale on cassettesat the moment - lots of percentages off.

Will follow up on this when we can find a wheel. I'm helping a mate out with this.

have you asked Mike. I got a set of him last year for about £100 may be a bit to much for what you need. I use them as race wheel now.

Try Decathlon, some cheapo wheels to be had in there.

Bopo - if your mate is still on a quest for a 9 speed wheel, looks like my mission for a 10 speed version is coming to fruition, so I may be freeing up my existing turbo wheel (complete with some sort of cheapy shimano 9 speed cassette) - let me know if he is still interested...

I think he went the other way and spanked his credit card into submission on the P-X website... I'll have a check. He's been AWOL for a few days having a tough family time. :(
