Leeming Wells Hotel

Postby Tritans » 17 Dec 2013 17:21

Just had a call from them to say that the cleaner had handed in £25 that they'd found in my room. (Change from the emergency £40 I took on the ride. Yes I know £40 is a large emergency fund but was covering taxi eventualities  )

So fair play to a) the cleaner for handing it in and b) the hotel for ringing and offering to send it to me.

Very, very honest.

You will be pleased to hear I told the Hotel to give it to the cleaner to reward their honesty.
One who wants to do something, will find a way.
One who doesn't, will find an excuse.

Experience suggests that £40 is a woefully inadequate emergency fund - I take a debit card these days!
(but well done to them for their honesty!)
...and what was the emergency that necessitated spending the other £15 - beer?

Well done to the cleaner :D (Hopefully she didn't think it was some kind of sting with secret cameras. Tritans...secret cameras...the mind boggles)

Good on you Tritans for allowing them to keep the cash. Is this the same Tritans who once drove to London because someone owed you a quid? ;)

Nice work, Tritans, you [usually] miserable twat. That money was already lost to you, but may well be the value of a half-day shift to that cleaner.

It makes me feel all warm... or it could be because I've just done a sufferfest and my bowels have gone again.
I had fun once. It was awful.
