Exchanged Contracts!

Postby md6 » 30 Apr 2013 09:54

Well, after a fair bit of delay caused by inactive building societies, incompetent valuers and general bureacracy I have finally exchanged contract on my flat! Thank the big baby hazus for that!

Well, i'd better get sorted looking for stuff and junk to fill my flat with, other than art i've already done that!

Excellent stuff. My turn next... if the buyer's solicitors could actually move their arses at some point soon.

cheers.

Its the delays and hanging around that make this whole thing so stressful, and there was no chain for me either. Still it only took just over 2 1/2 months which is not so bad i guess.

Congrats! What are the odds, that's two of us in one day to exchange :D Took 3 months for me with no chain as well. Solicitors are a nightmare aren't they

I wonder how long before all my stuff gets relegated to the shed lol.

Yep still gonna be in Greenwich, although a slightly different part of it...Lewisham part to be precise. I'm only 100m out of greenwich so i'm calling that Greenwich until i am forced to do otherwise lol.

Congrats Lead Ballon too. I wonder how hard it would be to do that for a living, they don't seem to do much!
