For tweeting about a top notch discount by Garmin on their 910XT, managed to pick up a new one, with full Tri kit (heart rate, quick release, cadence and speed sensor) for under £160, and collected this morning.

Was it a genuine discount or a pricing error which they honoured?

Well I can't complain... I got a brand new (refurb I guess) 310 for free over christmas. No idea how it happened but I trashed the screen on mine and garmin replaced it no questions asked. It was c.3years old and had taken a beating and although I have no idea how the screen actually went, it was almost certainly all my fault.

I ordered the 910 on its own for £132 and it was delivered yesterday. Bargain. Forerunner 305 is up on eBay so the new 910 won't have cost me too much

Well done young Weeksy lad and well done to Garmin for honouring it if it was a pricing cluster :D

Yes, Kevy - I think you ought to hand it over to someone more inclined to go near the wet stuff (oops - on current track record, that probably rules me out...).
Presume you can't get them at that price any more??
