little add to this, and making up somewhat for an indifferent 6weeks of swimming (thursdays i've been in manchester since feb, so up at 5am... 7h on trains, 6h in meetings, not eating properly, then turning up to swim training and just. being. total. shit).... we had a 400tt tonight, and the coach was feeling particularly cruel and made us do it one to a lane (so no draft opportunities).

5:58. :)

i've never gone under 6mins ever, so this is really pleasing. my 100m splits went 1:24 (errr), 1:29 (more like it), 1:34 (oops), 1:31 (phew). i had a glance at the pace clock at 300m and knew it was tight so to make it was a relief - once i'd got my lungs back.

I wish I was that fast. Well done Nick. By the way, was it you that got Star Letter (or whatever it's called) in the April edition of 220 (yes I know I am behind in my reading!)?

Is it still full of recycled articles from the previous editions, adverts, and 'Best budget wheel-set for those struggling on an income of only £86000pa' reviews?

not sure about those bits, kev, but i know it's got a high-quality testing regime for goggles ;)

anyway, what on earth are you doing in a swimming thread? don't tell me you are finally considering you might on some tight neoprene and get soggy?
