Me

Received a nice call on my Holiday...The offer of a new job :D

Current "Permanent contract" is due to expire and although when commenced I was told that there was lots of opportunity for future works, it now appears that this is not the case and they are just trying to get people to hang on until the end of the job, by extending the contract a couple of months at a time - they also refuse to let us go on a day rate rather than salary.

So I took myself off for a cheeky interview before I went away, and I have been offered the job - More money, ultimately home based, car, fuel and expenses - So I now know that I am good to go for Poland, and have a secure job for the immediate future, providing I don't mess up :o

Based out of Derby, so still within my max 1hr commute rule, but once I have found my feet, I will be home based, only having to visit the office for meetings, other travel will be for site visits :D

Excellent news. Tell 'em to go and screw themselves for treating you like casual labour.

Well done! :D
