Doesn't look identical to the SC but pretty close. MTB did mine by undoing the nut and then with palm of the hand smack the back of the saddle fairly hard and you should hear what sounds like a crack, I think he did this twice. It sounds bad, but it is meant to sound like that. Apparently it is the locking mechanism whereby when the nut is tightened it basically gets locked in somehow and needs releasing with a hard smack. I have never actually done it on mine! I am sure there will be a YouTube of it somewhere. Until he did this, loosening the nut made made absolutely no difference.

In all the years of our mighty club, I am struggling to recall such a successful outcome to a problem.

He probably saw (badoom tish) the post title, imploded, and is now sitting in a padded cell rocking back'n'forth with a pair of Tritans' Y-fronts on his head and a pencil up each nostril...

I was biding my time, hoping Ben went into a proper meltdown. You have no idea how disappointed I am with old Jimba'll Fix It and his bloody helpful suggestions.

I thought we could've got at least a few more days out of this one. Gutted.
I had fun once. It was awful.
