Sorry to embarrass you Clare... but to the uninformed, in a 40km TT CCS would destrominate most of us. And that is riding 'girly gears'.
Meanwhile, riding my manly 39/25 minimum gear there was a three minute difference between me and CCS up Sh*ttyf*cker Hill (Surrey) when I checked on Strava. In Clare's favour.
Having a gear you can actually get on on top of wins every time. Turning a hill into a leg-press session simply doesn't work.
I got £50 of Wiggle vouchers for my B'day. I'm seriously thinking of putting in the extra for a compact crank.
