Overshoes - neoprene currently trying Bontrager

The wooly bully's are uber warm. The sealskinz are 100 perct waterproof ( you can stand in a bucket of water with them on, and remain dry ) and the overshoes reduce the wind chill.

Not perfect as quite a cumbersome ensamble, but more often than not do the job.

I went for something similar over the winter - regular More Mile running socks, a pair of thick hiking socks over them, then overshoes as well. Relatively warm, and the cafe at Capheaton has a roaring fire in the corner at which to regain any lost feeling in your extremities...

That should be the least of your worries

Ccs - yes that's right (i assume you are looking for an excuse to buy another pair of shoes). In reality the socks aren't too thick. For warmth the wooly bullys take some beating.

Big show - who are you trying to kid. You lot ride bare chested in shorts and flipflops until it drops below -4.

New question on overshoes: When I put mine on they come far enough down the shoe that they kinda tuck into the cleats, which then means I can't clip in as the overshoes get in the way.

Do I have the wrong size/ need to do something different?

Can you not manipulate them into a better position once they are on ?

find that my bbb overshoes tend to foul the cleat a bit - quite often i have to lean down and pull the overshoe forwards a bit to allow the cleat to fit in. my endura ones almost never do this, and they have a carefully made surround for the cleat that is smaller than the bbb one.

which ones are you using? it could be size, but i would think the hole in the overshoe would be the same regardless. can you pull the material around and see if it improves the clip-inny-ness?
