I have today discovered a whole new swimming technical device... to help you "feel" your roll.
It works at least when swimming in a wetsuit anyway.

It is quite simple.

You fart whilst swimming, and the gas bubble then rolls around the inside of your wettie and you can feel it rolling across your back etc.

If you can feel it on your hip as you roll, then you know you are getting a good roll - if it doesn't move much past the small of your back then you know you are not rolling enough (for long, o/water catch up type style swimming anyway).

Hope this helps peeps

I can assure you all that I definitely (and unfortunately know) what a follow through feels like. [1]

And it is nothing like a gas bubble!

[1] for the reward of a pair of o/w goggles that FIT me I will disclose a particularly unsavoury story concening the aforementioned, Cusco in Peru and a rather attractive Australian girl. [2]

[2] for the reward of TWO pairs of o/w goggles that FIT I will NOT disclose the above! [3]

[3] (and by definition [4]) I will disclose (or otherwise] for the reward of an appropriate number of items of cycling kit an equally unsavory story concerning the aforementioned, somebody with exceptionally large ears from Worthing (not called Earnest) and the European Space Agency

The forum automatically posts to twitter (I've been thinking about creating a BCTTT twitter feed for a while now), Triumphant just retweeted it.
