The only thing that could reconcile me to a 100 would be the idea of a 12 hour.

It is one of those things that is 100% physical. Then another 150% mental.

I would argue that an ironman is nicer as you have a more interesting course, people to overtake, and the prospect of a nice run to look forward to.

That is all very true. It really was very tough mentally. Thats the main point of doing it for me, because it does make the IM bike seem easier.

There is nothing on Earth that would persuade me to do a 12. It's taken nearly 2 years to get over the last 100.
