So apparently Jens put out 412w for the hour yesterday.

I checked what's the longest I've ever held that for in the Critical Power curve in Golden Cheetah. 2m16s. Back to my day job then.

In 2011, when winning the national 10, Wiggins said he did 476w.

Let's call that a CP20 effort. So FTP is 452. Back in 2011.

And he is a lot, lot, lot more aero than Jens.

Martin and Cancellera would be in the same ballpark, and Dowsett not much further off that. And Bottril a bit further back.

Should easily see the Obree tuck records go.... the question is how close they would get to Rominger's 55 or Boardmans superman 56....

Not really sure how much worse a modern TT/Pursuit bike + modern track (with temp control) is worse than 1990s tech.

And a lot neater I would have thought, although that probably comes under 'more aero'.

Just noticed your updated sig by the way, very good :)

H10/3a (decidedly undulating) 25:02. Sewtts cat 3 win (prize of socks & chocolates), and based on this, sneaked 3rd place in cat 3 for the series by narrow margin of 2 points (winning rather nice pair of Rapha overshoes and £25) plus got the cat 3 vets prize (£30). A profitable afternoon despite a lot of snot & phlegm!
