2013 Time trialling Forum/Club BAR Competition

Are done with this now?

The winner lies somewhere between Ewan, CCS and Tritans. But if you factor in age and gender, then CCS has stormed it.

Will can be last for not bothering to update the spreadsheet, even after nagging.

Everyone else needs to try harder and actually do some more TTs.

So, what's everyone's aims for next year?

Yep I'm all done.

Can we keep the spreadsheet live and have a 2014 tab. Its the only place I have my Pb's

Well done all.

Thanks to Ewan for organising.

TTs are my main focus next year. Going to work on flexibility and strength over winter, and get a bike fit early next year with TTs rather than tri in mind. Want to knock at least 90s off my 10 PB. Do a few 25s and get as close to the hour as possible, with sub hour a 2015 goal. Probably do a couple of 50s. Already looking forward to the release of the handbook.

Yup, We'll keep this thread and keep this years spreadsheet as it is for posterity. I'll just update everything so it still makes sense next year.

Oh and I'll bake CCS a cake for taking the competition by storm (it'll probably only be a small one so that I can post it though...).

Well done all!

There is a slim and I mean slim that CCS will have a female rival next year. Heather may be doing TT. Not to sure she will but she did say she would yesterday.

Part of a cunning plan? "We could get his & hers TT bikes!" ;)

Big thank you to Ewan for organising - I will definitely be back for more next year.
Hope to try a 50, and also perhaps try some different courses (though Bentley is so local, that it does make it very easy to secure an exit pass).
Objective is just to go faster! Suspect that there are some mental limitations to overcome (never mind physical) - but looking forward to giving it a go.
Have had loads of fun with TTing, and now that I have all the gear (though still no idea), it seems a shame not to get good use out of it! I wonder when that damned bike will actually reveal its name to me?

She should definitely have a go - it's fun, and dead cheap - though obviously, she will need a TT bike to go with that new CX bike that she also needs
