So was successful enough to get an entry. I was, however though it is 3 weeks after IMUK, still might give it a go. I have till the end of Feb to decide.

Last year they let people defer due to illness/ injury to stop people riding who were unfit or trading spots on the black market. Might be worth taking it on the assumption that will happen again and you can do it in 2015 if you don't feel great after IMUK.

I didn't get in, stupidly opted for the jacket though - fine and high vis when theres no water, but when there is it may as well not be there....
