must admit I'm quite interested in a tri-star event - the thought of having to run less off the bike is appealing (and an extra 10k on the bike when compared to then 90k of a HIM isn't too much of an ask)

Cut-off time is 7 hours, reckon I could manage a 6:59:55 if I really tried

Not sure why they've cut down the swim and run though. Why not keep it as a full middle distance? They know they can do it, just seems a bit strange to me. Obviously I'd always rather a short run, but it's not as if you'd be able to say that you're doing a middle distance race as the swim and run are so short. However, it would be cool to race in monaco :)

I much prefer those distances.

So much better than a long run and a longer swim.

It's all about the bike :D

Thought you'd prefer the other way round, especially with the extra weight of the trailer!

I like the distances, I'm all for short runs, but it doesn't really allow any comparison with other events

I'd do this one on my own mate.

Still prefer a shorter swim and run lol
