rumour has arrived at my ears that the lake might be warm enough for wetsuits to be optional.

there is a long run up a grass hill to t1.

i am pretty much the same speed in a wetsuit as in a pool (23:05 for 1500 at cardiff, 23:50 in pool about a month before - not at race pace). over 750m this would be even less.

hmm... my instinct is to ditch the suit - if i get chilly the run into t1 will soon warm me up.

If it's any conciliation, running in the midday heat of Geneva totally ruined me on Friday. Good luck!

Rain holding off which is bloody marvellous. Touch windy, but I'll be ok with that I think.

Rain came back. Finished in 1:23 or something. Was second out of the water but lost the bike on the third corner (7 lap bike so saw it a few times) so was quite twitchy for the rest. Had a good go on the run. Need to get cleaned up and check the bike.
