A half in the beautiful stourhead grounds, this sunday morning...

2 weeks before poland...

Seems an expensive way to do a simulation, but...

Sorely tempted...

This tough and challenging race will start off with a 1900m swim in the large lake, followed a by a beautiful and tough hilly 56 mile ride through the Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset counties, before culminating in a 13.1 mile run!

How is a middle distance two weeks before an A-ish race middle distance a good idea?

Am I be only sane one left here?

Terrible idea.

To be fair, i'm not planning to RACE it, only to use it as a big training session.
Probably at 70-80% of race effort. Like I said, an expensive way to do a simulation, but I have yet to get my wetsuit into the water, ive done no transition practice, and haven't run more than 3k off the bike...
