Another public service information message, brought to you by the people who gave you the Wine Cork Disc Inflation Solution (TM):

Ever had difficulty mounting a front light on your TT bike (angled bars make it almost impossible to get the beam pointing directly forward)?
Worried about cars seeing you riding home at dusk after an evening 10?

... OK, so these may be quite niche issues... but I think I have have found the solution:

Mounts to your front wheel skewer instead of the normal nut, and you have somewhere to mount a front light.
Yet to test it out in anger - but it seems like a pretty good idea (not to mention, it's dead cheap!)

Possibly not that aero :). But probably easy enough to fit for the ride home.

Maybe a good extra light mounting point for an ordinary bike to throw light on potholes etc, in conjunction with the normal motorist dazzling handle bar ones.

Yes - agree that it isn't aero - so plan would be to have it in my backpack (along with the front light itself) and just fit for the trip home
