Thanks for that Dave, a timley reminder of why I'm not training outside at the moment. I'm a liability on a bike at the best of times. :)

this weather just isn't right for road-bikes - i rode back from work last night just as the snow turned in and it was starting to get interesting as i got home. it turns out that gusty easterly wind right in face blowing show into my eyes really hurts, and 23mm slicks don't grip well on laying snow.

Her column in 220 this month is really interesting. It all sounds so easy too! Enter some AG triathlons. Win them. Win some more. Rock up to Switzerland to see Brett Sutton for a week. Turn pro. Win everything. All in three years.

Outside of tri, hardly anyone in the UK has heard of her. If she were from say the US, where would she register in their public conciousness?
