I only take a recovery drink after a run of 45+ minutes or a decent bike (60+ mins) when I've pushed myself. Never after swimming (tells you alot about my swimiming!!)

I'm trying to lose weight so I only tend to use them when I actually feel my muscle have need repair.

on a side note, about 4-5 years ago I decided I wanted to bulk up and took 2 protein shakes a day and soon I put on a stone.. I didn't do any training and the stone wasn't even close to muscle... another trianing mistake me thinks :lol: :lol:
