Changes within the revolutionary council?

Postby Sir Conehead » 07 Jan 2010 03:14

Well, Scotty has been in charge for over a week now - as I'm now just interested spectator I wondered when the appointment of the new Vice Grand Master (or mistress..?) would be and any other appointments?

Anyone fancy putting their hat in? Maybe post on here to catch the new SGM's eye as to why you should be the VGM...?

Not that I'm putting my name forward (got enough on my plate to be dealing with this year), but what's involved with being VGM?

Is it like being the PA to the SGM?

Ha ha!!! Good one guys... Seriously not for me though! I couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery. And this year is looking daunting enough already!

are we still in dictatorship mode with the new SGM? If so it would be good to hear from him what his plans are for the revolutionary council ... i suspect our democratic attempt at the VGM election may be faced with the same contempt for democracy shown by the previous SGM (may the tri gods bless his name)

Nope, I'm not even NW regional leader anymore. I am wandering free (literrally).

As for the role of VGM (and who says there has to be just one..), surely the primary role is to consipire against the sitting SGM and implement a coup de etat at any moment? Or quietly bide there time until the SGM steps down....

Also - there is a real danger we could be voted best triathlon club in UK....

Fairy Muff..

I was going to let this thread play itself out.. but I too believe in the SGM privilege on not using democracy to make decisions.

don't let it you stop you voting though guys...

I'll be in touch with the masses soon..

Scotty
