The SE/London Ride went well, although the weather was somewhat wet and cold, 4 of us made it to the start.. a cycle to Box Hill a quick ascent, stop for tea/Hot Chocolate then a lap of the Ballbuster route back to the National Trust cafe for another tea/Hot Choclate before the fast decent down Pebblehill to the cars at Betchworth

It was a good ride, and box hill knocks Conehead's sunny pictures into a distant second!

Oh well - just in case, here's some pics from todays 50miler with Gee, Newport Beach to San Clemente and back, down PCH...

Big thanks to Dustin at Shimano USA for the Ultegra wheels for the bomber.

Great thing about pro riders is how well prepared they are - hence stopping 12 miles in to adjust handlebars!

Another great thing about pro riders is they don't forget their road helmets!

Yeah - I had to zip my top of at least most of the way. And Gee, rolling the slopestyle helmet because he forgot his road lid. And after last years shenanigans and the press - they've learnt their lesson....
