Ooh.... shiny; great price; black/large available...

Anybody got one? Recommended or save pennies for something else?
I had fun once. It was awful.

I believe CCS and Jon.E both have one, or a similar LG model.

If you can get your bonce into a Medium, rather than a large, it'll probably have less drag due to the smaller size. I started with a large Javelin but can comfortably get into a medium.

Indeed - I have the 'black knight' - bought largely on the strength of cool mirrored visor (which I managed to scratch horribly).... I like (though no other pointy hat experience to compare...)
- comfortable
- easy to put on/off (apparently some are not) - so good for triathlon
- nice air intake thingy for keeping the grey matter cool (I once rode with the visor up, obscuring the vent, and thought my brain was going to melt

I notice the one in the ad has no visor - personally, I would always go for a visor, as it looks cool (very important) - and I think it acts like blinkers for a racehorse, and helps to distract from the fact that I am about to be launched by a frail old gent straight into the path of a HGV

Interestingly, I would suggest that size doesn't matter (so long as it is comfortable on the head) - my helmet is huge.... but my esteemed bike fit guru (Mr Mike the Bike) suggested that actually it's all about airflow around your shoulders etc - so squeezing your head into a small helmet probably isn't going to make much difference.

In conclusion for Bopo - buy a pointy hat, and get that fancy bike out TT-ing (but get your ticker fixed first)

Nice price, I think the P-06 is on off shoot of the Leggerra helmet, and the latest incarnation is the P-09, which seems to be a more advanced model of the Vortice ( see review for much mirth and hilarity in the kit review section ), both Tritans, CCS and I have the Vortice, the P-09 is also up for sale in the Evans sale 50% off.
If you opt to buy one, invest in a second spare visor, they are like the proverbial hens teeth when you try and get hold of them.
