I vaguely remember UKA accusing us of being con artists and only in it for VLM entries too.

Not to mention the faff involved in paperwork, not having a physical location to show no other clubs exist, having various welfare officers and a junior section to show we are inclusive. I looked at it a couple of times while SGM and decided it would be too much work and risk putting costs up more than it would benefit a few. Much better for people to join a local club of runnerists
