Everyone is missing the obvious solution ... abandon all this swimming/running nonsense and get back to cycling. It's just trying to send you a subliminal message.

I'm assuming it's some kind of protest at the sudden increase in Swimming and Running, at the expense of what it has become accustomed to, cycling.

So, every run has an elevation gain of over 7000m which as you will know is more elevation than you will find in the whole county let alone Bracknell Parkrun.

Also I have had 2 timing discrepancies. Great South run, Garmin time was 3mins 30secs adrift and Saturdays Parkrun was 45 seconds out. I can't think of how this is possible.

Any ideas welcomed.

Assume its the 910xt? If so this is a common problem and one that Garmin tried to hit me with a £75 charge to fix. What you can do is clean out the little hole at the back on the watch - that's where the barometer is that controls elevation. Use a toothbrush and then soak the watch is lukewarm water and then clean again. Its seems to clog up with grime very easy. If that doesn't work then welcome to the club of Broken 910xt's.

If you google it you will see its a common fault.

Ffs what is happening to this club. CCS came close, but the actual obvious solution is to buy a new one.

I think it may have something to do with the restraining order she took out on him after the last 'incident' he had with her toothbrush?
