Important announcement from the SGM

too long have you wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of ignorance and despair. Too long have you been hopeless and alone, but no more!
Now I shall tend unto you. I shall light your way. I shall guide you and bring you comfort.
I shall tell you what to do.
As decreeded by Mrs. The Founder before christmas, this years club champs will be the Club Relays at Holme Pierrepont. I see that we have a good number of people committed to entering already, but i want to see more. And yet more again. I want to see all club members entering this year, lets win the damn thing by sheer force of numbers. And in the spirit of inclusion that, whilst strong within triathlon generally, flourishes unfettered within the world of the BCTTT, I hereby decree that any registered board member looking to take part but unable to secure a team is welcome to join with the World Domination Army and race and party alongside the massive by registering their interest on the thread in the Events forum.
Party? Yes party! Because although we may well arrange a post season - pre christmas gathering of the greatest tri club in the known universe at a later time, i am also announcing that the Club Awards Black Tie Dinner for 2011 will in fact be a barbeque and beer based affair to be conducted on the sunday evening of the weekend long carnival that is the Club Relays.
With the ladies and mixed races on the saturday, the mens races on the sunday, and a bank holiday on the monday this weekend is too good an opportunity to be missed. Therefore, not only do I want you to enter yourself into a team and take part, but those who aren't racing, should come and support, with partners, and kids, and dogs, and neighbours, and workmates, and random people that you just abducted on the way down to the event. Lets get as many of the massive together as possible, again (and as always) open to club members and non-members alike for a damn good weekend of triathlon based fun and games.
This is my first dictat to you all as your Supreme Grand Master for this year. I am honoured and humbled to have had this glorious position rendered unto me and i do not expect you, my faithful followers, to disappoint me in our joint pursuit for world domination through the dark and mystic power of triathlon.
Now go forth, my children, and do my bidding!
