Have you checked your own garage first? Bound to be one in there somewhere...

Now, if you had asked me this a few weeks ago, I would have had just the thing (the very bike which got me racing, and at 54cm, a bit small for me) - low mileage; one careful(?) lady driver... but sadly, having been ousted in favour of more fancy carbon fibre models, it has since moved abroad for retirement.

Hi Ben,

I've got a 2011 Giant Defy 2 I'm looking to shift in a large size (55.5) if that is any good. I've upgraded the wheels to Halo Aerorage, so nothing too fancy. If your interested it will be available when my new Felt AR4 arrives (Thanks for the suggestion on that by the way :D ).
I'd go with the alloys and lose a few pounds!

Hey Ben,

I'll sort out some pics tomorrow. In the meantime here is a link to the bike's spec and the wheel upgrade.

http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/model/defy.2/7842/45447/#specifications

http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/components/wheel-sets/product/review-halo-aerorage-8948

The bike itself is in good condition with just two cosmetic grazes, I'll take photos of them. I can also supply the original pedals with toe clips, a bottle cage and a pocket bike tool. The bike is almost exactly two years old and the wheels are just over a year old. The tyres are Schwalbe Durano S.

In terms of price, there are equivalent bikes on Gumtree for between £400 -£450 without the wheel upgrade:

http://www.gumtree.com/search?q=Giant+defy+2&search_location=&category=all

I think this may be a little ambitious so would be looking for £450 with the wheel upgrade and can supply the original wheels too. Or..... I'd be intersted in trading for some carbon 50s with a shimano free hub if you have any lying around ;)
I'd go with the alloys and lose a few pounds!

Hi Ben,

Here are some images across a couple of posts. Let me know if you need anything else. The scrape is from a slow motion unclipping error right outside my own house  and wasn't an impact. The two paint chips are a mystery, but possibly as a result of being transported on a bike rack.
