Garmin GSC10 Speed/Cadence Sensor + Bike Mount kit for 310XT

Postby Ewan » 26 Oct 2010 12:35

I'm pretty sure that someone on here was trying to get rid of their speed/cad sensor, and I want one so if it was you let me know!

So... I'm after one of these: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Garmi ... 360022364/ (preferably complete with magnet).

I also want the bike mount bits of the quick release kit... I already have the strap etc, but I want to use my 310XT on more than one bike.

If anyone has one let me know!

Ewan - I've just taken shipment of a non-garmin speed/cadence sensor that I intend to wire up to the 310 it was around 20 odd quid from wiggle and is ant+ so I'll let you know how you go on, it's just I couldn't quite stretch to the fifty notes for the garmin one :)

It just might be another option depending on your budget.

Just to say... I got one of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/o-synce-macro-d ... dence-kit/ and it's worked a treat with the 310, switched the 310 went through the menus and found the ant+ spd/cad option and it recognised it straight away, turned it off got it fitted to the bike, turned the 310 back on and it soon picked up the speed and cadence sensor v. happy but it is only the first time I've used it I guess ;)

Thought I would just hijack this thread if you do not mind. I am also looking for a bike mount for a garmin 310xt (I already have the GSC10 Speed Sensor)

Willy,

How did you get on with this? I think I'm going to order one as soon as possible - the lack of CAD on my training bike was fun for a while but now I think it would be really useful!

Cheers.

Have had no problems and have been outside with it too now ;) very happy for the money the garmin picks it up every time. no weird speeds/cadences reported to date either.

Just bought a GSC10. I looked everywhere for one of these O-synce ones but they didn't seem to be available anywhere on the internet anymore!

Still, I found a GSC10 for £33 which is a bit cheaper.

Cheers for the feedback.
