shin splints are taking a long time to calm down - i can still feel a tightness there over 2 weeks later (and nearly 2 weeks since my last run). it's getting better, i can hop without pain which i think is a good start. not going to be running until it is gone for a few days though.

physio is also looking at my hips/back, which is being put down to leg length discrepancy. we'll see how that goes. i'm stretching and rolling legs and glutes and with any luck it'll start easing out.

i can bike and swim and i'm busy at work so i don't feel like my lack of running is a loss. yet. i'll take racing as it comes this season.
