Brilliant write up, for a fantastic day out, well done.
Would they not let you go via Broad Stand, rather than Foxes Tarn, just to make it a " better" day out??

Quality report, a hearty well done.

Thanks all. I don't think I could've faced it being any 'better'

It wouldn't be a BCTTT RR without some form of cluster ;) And let's not forget smashing my transition box before the start

I've been looking forward to this all day and it doesn't disappoint, a great write up of a brilliant performance. I love to think that one day I might attempt something like this specifically because I find climbing so difficult.

Slightly worried that it got so tough you resorted to drinking your own urine though!!!
I was glad for the water in my bladder as I sipped on that all the way through to keep me going.
:o
I'd go with the alloys and lose a few pounds!

Still mad!
Great achievement, reading the report I could just imagine myself trying to grind up those hills on the verge of falling over.

Bloody well done old bean :D
It seemed like a good idea at the time :? .

I knew all that wee drinking as a Bootneck would come in handy one day

I couldn't recommend this race highly enough. Sign up for next year and you won't regret it :D

Cheers KS, I tried to do it justice. I'd love to hear about Chappers' perspective with his epic day
