Well done sir!
Obviously, you are mad - but double well done. I wouldn't fancy swimming that far even with a wetsuit - in fact, wouldn't consider going that far in the water without the aid of some sort of speed boat!

Bloody well done Bopo :D An epic swim and fighting with sea monsters as well ... not one for me. I am, as always, in awe of you swimerist dolphin types who zip through the water at terrific speeds whilst I paddle like a turtle.

Glad you didn't post any pix as a forumite in Budgie Smugglers at this time of the morning :o just had my breakfast.
It seemed like a good idea at the time :? .

Still awed by this. I would have had nightmares about this last night, if it hadn't been for Ben posting _that_ picture.

Very well done Bopo. I know only too well how much difference a non wetsuit swim makes.

A couple of comparrisons for you from my do mates who did this and last year. Both 60min IM swimmers.

Both 10mins slower this year than last, also Austria's non wetsuit swim added 10 mins to their time.

I might actually get to do this next year.
One who wants to do something, will find a way.
One who doesn't, will find an excuse.
