Didn't get weighed this morning.
However, did get out on the bike.
I was feeling brave and wasn't in much pain from the knee or ankle, so decided to go a little longer.
The furthest I've ridden outside since the Vit in 2012 is about 9.6 miles, so going for 16 was a stretch.
However, the weather was lovely and I was feeling quite positive after the session with Howard the other day.
All went well. I was slow, but had planned to be. I rode, enjoyed the weather, the views and generally had a jolly nice time. I enjoyed cycling.
I enjoyed being on a bike - it made me smile.
I'm looking forward to the next time I can get on my bike.
The ankle's hurting a bit now, but the knee's fine.
Back to see Howard tomorrow for some extra pain and torture.
Should be fun :-D
I've done DNF. I've done DNS.

211.2 np
34.6%
43.3 waist
43.3 hips.
Tally ho!

Spent an hour being abused this morning. There should be a significant improvement in 4 weeks of two sessions a week.
Given that it's nearly a year since the knee op, I'm hoping this will get me back to running, finally.
So plan for the week is:
2 x verti run
1 x open water swim
1 x bike
1 x walk
And eating well.
The above is my minimum target. I'm hoping there will be the opportunity to add other things in.

How come you're not doing FitNat now? FWIW my wife's lost quite a bit in just 6 weeks on it, and that's with extremely limited exercise.

Shame. I'm eating the same evening meals as Gemma and we've had lots of tasty stuff. I've not noticed a significant increase in the shopping bill either.

209.2p
However, interestingly, 32.9% and a notch in on my belt.
I'm absolutely knackered thanks to my lovely kiddies! They're not having good nights at the moment, so neither am I.
Really good day yesterday though - meal out with Amy, swimming with the kids and then wine, chocolate and conversation at night. One of the best days in a long time.
Half term should be fun - I have a feeling we will be receiving many 5yr old refusgees, so it'll be a busy one!
