Gym done.
warm up then:

Squat x 5 -
warm up bar / 30 / 40
Main 50/50/50

Press x 5
warm up small bar (no idea how heavy!) - bar /+5 / +10
main +15/+15/+15

Deadlift x 5
warm up 30 / 40 / 50
Main 60 / 60 / 60

c/down and stretching.

Not much in the scheme of things, but there's potential.

Bad boy last night.
Everything hurts! I'd forgotten how much proper lifting works your core.
Not sure what will be done today, depends what time Amy returns.

So far this week:
2 x verti run
1 x gym

Left to go
1 x gym
1 x swim
1 x walk
1 x bike

Not sure how that'll go. Could double up on swim and gym tomorrow. Swim first, then gym.
Bike today, walk Sunday maybe....

Swim then gym today.
Not sure how much I'll swim - depends what the shoulders can cope with.
Then gym for Squat/Bench/Deadlift.
Should be interesting as I haven't done a bench press in years.

208.8np
Went for a swim -
10x50 warm up
10x50 pull buoy
10x50 6/3
2x50 cool down
Total 30 mins.
Not bad. Shoulder giving me a little gyp.

Gym
10m w/up
Squats x5 - 20 / 30 / 40
Main x 5 55 / 55 / 55
Bench Press x 5 - 20/ 30 / 35
Main x 5 40 / 40 / 40
Deadlift x 5 30 / 40 / 50 / 55
Main x5 70

Stretching for cool down.

That really, really hurt! In a good way....

Today I should have been doing the outlaw half.
Gutted not to do it, but c'est la vie.
Enjoyed watching and cheering people on.
It's making me think a lot about what I want to do...

Balls.
Achilles tendinopathy.
No gym allowed, so have cancelled membership.
Very frustrating.
Wish the verti run guy was closer.
Still allowed to swim though, thankfully.
Currently on a massive downswing.
We have a meeting with Beatrice's social worker today for a major review. These things are generally the exact opposite of fun.

Why no gym? Lots of eccentric loading is typically done. Moving is supposed to be good. No running or jumping I could understand.

This paper is quite good (i.e. easy to understand)

I think just about everyone (here) has some form of achilles tendinopathy, judging from how many people are stiff in the morning....

Verti run yesterday.
Was good fun, despite me not wanting to go.
Back again on Thursday. Then moving to three times a week the week after.

Aargh!
I'm awake. Kids asleep. Have been awake since 445.
Just can't seem to sleep at all at the moment, but am perpetually tired.

205.2np
Hurrah!
Verti run today, followed by another hospital visit for Beatrice.

I've been struggling to get decent sleep lately. I'm on this at the moment, 2 days in: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00G6LS ... mp_s_a_1_1

Atrocious sleep night before last (first night with it) but when I finally went to sleep around 4 it was quality sleep. Last night, I slept for 7.5 hours unbroken. Best sleep in at least a week.

Also installed this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ndroid.lux yesterday, and read for ten mins in 'bed reading' mode before dropping off.
