Yes will definitely pick up on the running now the days get longer and warmer. And gunning for the 25-min 5 km that I was quite close to before pregnancy 2! Though I'll be starting with a sub-35minute target.

I will be back some point.

I just don't want the cloud of 'I should be training' 'I'm not training enough' hanging over me.

55.5kgs

Weight still falling off which is good. However when i started I thought I'd be 'there' by 55-56 kgs. This is the weight I was at when a personal trainer.

But I'm not there yet. At least another 2-3kgs of fat need to go.

Which is another reason why weight on its own is not a useful indicator...

Legs today.

Come on!

Damn you! Got that email from Windsor saying 3 months to go. And suddenly am thinking 3 months is ok, certainly of I can downgrade to a sprint!

Can I ever make up my mind and stick to it?

Anyway, training is calling for 2 x interval runs. So that'll be a start...

And running will be my weakest at the moment, so keeping options open...

Scibby, you can easily get round a sprint in 3 months training. Your weights will be making you strong, and if you are going to start adding interval run training that will help loads too. Focus on that and maybe see how you feel in a month's time.

And well done with the weight loss.

Well that was a reality check!
I tried a run. It was terrible. I can't jog for 5mins. What was supposedly to be fast:easy intervals became move:stop intervals. It was truly horrendous.

The only good news is that i don't feel heavy like I did whenever it was I last ran. But boy i'm so unfit.

Run/walk and build it up. That's what i did for a few months because of my knee issue. It was hard work but am now up to around 8 miles almost continuous. Slowly getting there.

Right, just a quick post to wrap this up...

In the end it became a 50day lose it, put it all back in again, and some more for Xmas... Then loss it again over 90days.

Still, here's the results:

Weight: 62.6kg when I started, 63.8 after Xmas! (55.3)
Bf %: 32 (25-26)
- Waist circumference (at narrowest): 78.5cm (68.5)
- Waist circumference (at widest): 94.5cm (78)
- Thighs (at widest): 59.0cm (53)
Skinfold:
- umbilical: 20 (13)
- supraspinale: 16 (9)
- suprailliac: 21 (13)

I'm really happy that I took the time to do this and lose the weight properly. I'm now the same weight as when i was beginning my PT course and about the same fat %. But I NEVER got to this weight after sproglet 1... In fact, i was just checking logs and 9 months after sproglet 1, I was about 3-4 kgs heavier despite doing a reasonable amount of s-b-r... (I was leaner before the first prego, but I trained ALOT and consistently for about 2 years).

So this just reinforced it to me: heavy weights is the best way to lose weight. Oh and Diet of course.

Over and out...

Another return of the return of the return coming soon...
