Speedfill now!!!
You are taking this far too seriously now :o

Got the speedfil from when I was planning to do the HIMs back in 2011. Not used it in anger...

... the biggest challenge will be finding all the bits.

If you find you're missing something, you can actually buy all spares for it online, which helps.

OK, back in 2010, I did:

S 00:35:29
T1 00:03:05
B 01:11:00
T2 00:01:47
R 00:49:56
Total 02:41:17

While in 2012, jon.e did:
00:30:33
00:01:44
01:01:42
00:01:16
00:57:44
02:33:01

Course looks the similar (apart from the swim) - but it is also rather a windy day forecast at the moment - 40mph gusts.

I am off 20 minutes after jon.e

Hopefully I won't lose 8 minutes or more...

Last year the times were
00:24:14
00:01:40
01:03:48
00:01:28
01:03:43

02:34:55

Training and race tactics have shifted, recently, short term objectives hopefully not offsetting long term gain. Reduce the deficiencies whilst maximising the gains.
The swim throws in a few variables, wetsuit may be optional or banned due to recent warm weather.
In theory, we shouldn't see each other until the end, unless it has gone wrong for one and right for the other.
Extinction is the rule. Survival is the exception.

Kick back and settle down into your big 13 minute cushion.

That's a big difference in the swim time.

I have to be honest, I'm losing track of all the stages by now!

We could do with an updated schedule / results list. ;-)

Sigh.

I'll see if I can put something together while you sip on your Ritalin.
