Need to find a coach, too.

it's only a couple of K, you don't need a coach, just run it ;)

Is that what you would do. Really?

well, recent strava activity would indicate that i have, in fact, gone that mad...

It's obviously digital doping. The first three were believable.

you obviously didn't pay close enough attention to the 6th

still, after my gentle berating from Gary and JB i have in fact, taken today off, completely.

if i could figure out how to improve without having to work at it, i'd be all over it

Other than the TTT, we have gone head to head on a 25 TT, to which I had the slight edge, but, Jack was riding a standard road bike. With his new TT it will be different.

We have gone head to head on two tris, and raced on the same course for another.
The swim times have to be adjusted as Jack was competing for the first time and competitive swimming was somewhat new.
Transition times are either included in the times or discounted altogether.

Ilkley, Jacks first Tri I think

Jack swim: 15:43, bike: 36:30, run: 24:10
Jon. swim: 08:56, bike: 35:47, run: 24:00
Transition times included, jack was quicker the bike and run.

The following year was Skipton pool Tri.

Jack swim: 11:09, bike:41:50, run: 21:47
Jon. Swim: 6:52, bike:41:56, run: 23:32

We have both done Rother but on different days, note how quick Jacks swim is now after ow training.

Jack swim: 15:05, bike:51:00, run: 20:42
Jon swim : 13:51, bike 48:17, run 22:04.

So running Jack has the advantage, swimming I have the slight edge, and biking is somewhat similar.
Should be a close one.
Extinction is the rule. Survival is the exception.

I would think so.... it looks to be mainly road/track/trails... I think I know a local lad who has done it. I will ask him.

There's also Ripon and Allerthorpe Classic in different years. 2010 for me. There may have been some slight course changes.

Just found out how to export all my data from training peaks (used during 2010/2011 - from when I got my power meter to when I gave up planning training sessions).

Weight when I did the skipton Tri:

11st 13lbs

Weight today 12st 13lbs

Racing weight schmacing weight.

Attributed to the quadzilla effect?
No? Tough. We're doing it.
