Great work!
Now, the real challenge is to keep it going... and defintiely do that TT (after having nagged others into having a go, you need to show us how it's done, and take that bike out for some fun - after all, it doesn't want to mess around with hills & cobbles  )

Cracking read jack. Great insight into why and the approach. Thanks for doing the log and great summary to finish.

Not again.

The idea is that it should become pretty much the norm.

'the norm'... One of the things that impressed my at the time was that cos of your job/travel you had to plan well ahead when you're gonna get the run done. And stick to it... Can't decide to lie in and do it in the evening instead etc... That's where many (me) would fall down I reckon...

Jack, any post mortem on this? Any niggles as a result, change in base run fitness, top end pace etc. I am interested from the perspective of an intense period of training in one discipline and whether benefits carry on despite a much lower subsequent volume. Also what was the impact on the swim/bike fitness etc etc.

I'm not ignoring this... just not really managed to get an answer out of the washing machine that is my mind.
