Right here we go again ...... i did have this quite exciting week written up but I lost it!
ok starting from Monday 26th November 2012

Monday 26th November 2012:
Running with my mate - this mate has a "sensitive job" which means that he cannot tell me details or anything that will give stuff away - enough said - the runs are great as I hear the stories that are not released to the press. Also he is not a shrinking violet and the runs are FAST/HARD so I usually have no recollection of the sensitive material!
Road Running Data:
Distance: 10kM
Time: NTT
Ave Pace: NO GARMIN
Ave HR: NO GARMIN

Tuesday 27th November 2012:
Session #1.
Swimming - SLEPT IN feel crap about it!
Session#2.
Cycling on Rollers
Distance: 50.02kM
Time: 1:25:39
Ave Speed: 35.6kMh
Ave HR; NO GARMIN

Wednesday 28th November 2012:
Meant to be Brick Session but I CBA instead I did the cycling on rollers this went well - I felt like a "hard man" but I soon wised up
Cycling on Rollers data:
Distance: 50.02kM
Time: 1:25:39
Ave Speed: 35.0kMh
Ave HR: NO GARMIN

Thursday 29th November 2012:
Swimming plus Cycling on Rollers.
Session #1. Swimming in school pool - the service guys were in Belfast today so my club pool was being serviced from 06:30 until whem=never and thsat meant I could use my school pool for 30:00 so I did a cool 1kM.
Swimming Data:
Distance: 1kM (44L - Old Imperial pool)
Time: NTT

Session#2. Cycling on rollers - Payback time; I felt terrible so was not able to gun it -slow but completed
Distance: 50.01kM
Time: 1:32:41
Ave Speed: 32.4kMh
Ave HR: NO GARMIN

Friday 30th November 2012:
Major Day! Two very good friends' Birthdays (JMC + JHB) plus my new Garmin 910xt arrives today - I got it on ebay at an excellent price and I will now sell a perfectly good 310xt - any offers?
Anyway a great day training - considering that a very secretive and private friend offered me a Birthday special - food movie and DRINKS and more DRINKS
I had to accept as thid guy is a big hitter and declining would have been taken as a Gentlemans' snub
I had a grrreat night (German Beer + German Cuisine + Inglorious Basterds = excellence). An excellent night but the following day I had a sculliung race against a group of guys who are
Younger
Training More
Training Specifically
Sculling Motivated
Anyway I came 4th and held my own against guys who were all ex- top end internationals and I shit upon the pretenders - GREAAT news for the old guys but what does it say about the current crop|?
Speaking for myself I am 10kg over weight and am sculling the same distance in a month as I used do in a night (at my height) - Its a lot to do with BEING HARD- ie Ability to SUFFER
At the "lower end of things " I did notice that my Athletes were going well

Saturday 1st December 2012:
A local Race! e tered and had a great race against an ex Portugese international 910 years my junior) Jaysis it was a grrrreat race side by side the whole way to the line - I really enjoyed it!
My athletes also went veryb well winning their classes but then things went LIFE CHANGINGLY SOUR!
The young athlete who I had taken to a Championship this yeAR (and who had "jumped ship") was wrongly told lies - she cme down to me and verbally attaced me in the extreme.
This resulted in a major school reaction and will have HUGE repercussions

Also yes please.

If its a long post write it in word, then copy and paste. You wont lose your posts that way.
One who wants to do something, will find a way.
One who doesn't, will find an excuse.

The return of the Native!
I got my act together over the Winter - I lost 10kg, signed up to a few big events - #1 being a 6 day stage race/sportive in the Dolomites
So far I am going really well - winning the TT's, and finishing tough. Local sportives in the top group
My training is currently cycling centred but I did swim + run all Winter and continue to do so on an irregular basis
I am currently 6 weeks into a 16 week programme ((based on my successful IM70.3 programme in 2011)
I have started on Twitter (treefrog2013) today and most of my training is on the Garmin Connect site (treefrog2) although I have to add in the data of the Roller + Turbo sessions which are titled "Other"
I will get around to this soon
Now that I'm back I'll be posting ..... and commenting as regularly as possible
