I know what you mean mate. Not much in the way of tri mojo yet either but hoping the prospect of new carbon will fix that. No pool time since Arizona and just training as I feel like it and keeping things ticking over. Prob going to bin the 10k at the weekend as treading a fine line with shinsplints. Half mara in 2 weeks but prob left it too late for the ballbuster
No? Tough. We're doing it.

Would you just look at it?! The order has gone in to MtB. If that doesn't get my mojo back, nothing will ;-)

tri training starts next week.. yes, that means pool time. i.e. mortons is back with a vengeance and I need to lay off running. I should know by now that Feb is the start of injury season so I may as well cut to the chase and hit the pool.

Appointment with an orthopedic surgeon this afternoon and I almost want him to agree to surgery to remove the neuroma. Walking bearfoot is painful and changes my gait so can't be good. I've no doubt it'll mean a few weeks off cycling but the prospect of pain-free running is very exciting. I know from experience that a lay off from running is no bad thing as long as other training compensates. I'll just have to hit the swimming... yeah, swimming. I remember that... kinda. achem.

Isn't that one a daycase surgery - how long would the recovery time off weight-bearing & exercise be?
