Will do the full report when the results are out, but in a nutshell, pb but missed breaking 1.30 by 19secs :lol: :twisted: :lol: :twisted:

Excellent time! Puts you right up there for a good for age qualification time for the London Marathon too, in case you were interested in that :D

About 77% age graded score.

Really well done... and shows the power of (not that) little and often. predicted VO2 max of about 50 as well.

Thanks guys. Part of the reason for me doing the thread is because of the number of people I hear of getting broken from ramping up training too quickly and my view that you only need rest days if you a do a lot of intensity work.
The thread I think captures my view, that for ME, frequent low intensity trail runs will a) get me to the start line and b) get me to the finish line in a decent time. I know that it will not get me my best possible time as I don't do enough race pace and above efforts (I think ave pace yesterday was faster than any pace I have run at for any duration since my last hm in October) and I am sure a coach would have me doing something different.

Full marathon is an interesting thought. Never done one, would like to, but not sure.

Day 87 3k 20mins steady
Day 88 2.9k 20 mins steady.
Day 89 13.1 miles.......far from steady!
Day 90 4.5k steady in the afternoon, DOMS pretty bad so v careful
Day 91 2.9k run first thing, DOMS worse! So only short and really careful
Day 92 2.9k steady 20mins and 40 min steady turbo later. Need to get some biking in as first tri is a week on Sunday.

Bit behind!!
Day 93 4.5k 30 mins steady legs about back to normal.
Day 94 4.5k 30mins steady, turbo 40 mins with some intervals! That makes a change!
Day 95 7.8k 50mins and 50min turbo intervals
Day96 7.8k 50 mins and quick ride outside on TT bike to make sure it's still working!
Day97 2.9 k 20mins.
Day98 6.1k 40mins Turbo 30mins steady
Day99 4.5k 30mins turbo steady 30mins
Day100 2.9k very steady..........wait for it.......1000m swimming, now you weren't expecting that!

So 100 days.
164 activities 121 hours
112 runs 714k 75hours 40mins
51 bikes nearly all turbo, 44hours 53mins
1 swim 1000m, 25mins :lol: :lol: :lol:

Weight down to a 4 or 5 year low.
No injuries or even niggles.
Happy 8-)
