You have a list - you are therefore better prepared than me!
Perhaps I should make one - that might stop me forgetting stuff like BTF licence etc!
Looks from Endo like the training is paying off on the run - sure Windsor will go well (and it's a lovely day out!)

Thanks CCS - the running is going better than I dared to hope. Just the balsted stitch / ab pain... Anyhoo..

Week 7
MON: Turbo - Sisters - average session
TUE: Swim 2 x 400m FC, 2 x 400m Pull. FC was 7:55 and 8:05. First pull was 7:45. Second was no time.
Run 10km in 62 min.

Then sick...

Then Mandering

Week 8
TUE: Hour on bike to ensure it didnt fall apart. It didnt. Hurray!
WED: Open water swim mostly to abate The Fear. Was OK performance wise - nothing special. good to remember the importance of sighting! Nice evening out though.
THU: Run, my TT route 3.7km in 23.:27. down from 24:48 previously. Happy with that. Not happy about pain in side, however I'm OK to run through it...

Not much left this week... Just psyching up for Windsor... And on the note, here's some targets:
Target / Dream

Swim 0:18:00 / 0:17:00
Bike 1:05:00 / 1:00:00
Run 0:29:00 / 0:27:00
T1 and T2 0:04:00 / 0:04:00

Total 1:56:00 / 1:48:00

Would be well pleased with 1:56/ But there's alot of uncertainty. so tbh, I'm just gonna try and have fun!

A lot to be said for having fun.

Brought to to me by a mate threatening not to race because he wouldn't hit a certain time ( no not me or Bopo ) ! FFS how bad does it get when you are prepared to piss £100 up the wall.

Although I do get the hump occasionally, when push comes to shove, I do this shit because I enjoy it. I'm not going to get distracted by arbitrary numbers.

Enjoy throwing biscotti at me and Gary.

, I do this shit because I enjoy it. And if I am suffering I am going to race so hard, I am going to make the others suffer as well.

+1 to that.
Sunny weather forecast; not too much wind; current dropping in the Thames... it's the recipe for a grand day out!
You will probably find me vomiting nervously on the waterfront at 6am...

Nope. TF !

But very strong. I did a km upstream and the same back. Literally twice as long upstream.
